Dr. Dan Smith clerk of antiquities entered his office at the Smithsonian wearing his usual black leather trench coat, black collar less shirt, a ten foot long red silk scarf and high polished German Calvary boots. He always dressed this way it was his unique way of showing that some times quirks are a part of a brilliant mind. He could never understand why normal people all dressed the same dress, suits fedoras all brown and plain, they seemed as sheep or cattle he thought.
“This world is full of followers, but a few leaders who dare to be unique.” He believed the best way to power is fame, or family riches.
As in the case of Lord master Manfred Euribus, the man he worked for.
Dan was always fascinated with ancient language and cultures even as a young boy the arrow heads he found in the field of his fathers fields and the Indian burial ground he desecrated with some friends on his eighteenth birthday. He was dying to get out in the field. He had studied under Lord Euribus for six years and was promised a field position after his seventh.
He sat down in the beat up old office chair, and thumbed through the letters he picked up on the way in. Several inquiries about what exhibits were coming up. A letter from a past employee wondering where his last check was. A student seeking an internship, and finally a letter informing him of the death of one Lord Euribus on an acquisitions assignment in South America.
“Lord Euribus master of antiquities my teacher, my mentor, my subjugator!”
“Our great nobleman from England is dead.”
“Probably cholera or some venereal disease! That man had it coming.” He spat.
“Good job Teach just go ahead and die leave me to the mindless research while you’re off in the field and the Nazis march across Europe. That Bastard has me translating tomes while he’s of fucking the locals. This blasted war is sucking up all the grant money I’ll never get out of here. He kicked the chair across the small room.
Just then a young boy in dirty coveralls and a cap stuck his head through the door. “Sir?”
“What!” Dan shouted caught up in the moment of this latest news.
“Just this for you sir. Sign to authorize delivery.”
“Delivery of what! Delivery from this rotting tomb of dead cultures! What is it?”
“ I donno just sign, its all in the truck in back.”
Curiosity suddenly struck him “Truck?” He followed the boy out back to the loading dock. Two big men were busy unloading large wooden crates from an old military truck into the empty storage room. Dan walked over and asked “What is all this?”
“Its every thing off the Queen Mary, manifest said to deliver here.”
“Queen Mary what are you talking about man!” said Dan confused about the delivery.
“She’s just in from South America. Don’ know what’s in the boxes. Sure heavy though.”
“Who sent them?”
“Manifest says Some Lord somthin’ or another.”
“Yes. Thank you”
How strange he thought. The manifest states the cargo left port almost a month ago.
He reached into his pocket and retrieved the letter, which had arrived in New York two Days ago.
“Did he finish? Did he find it?”
Excited Dan threw his coat on the nearest crate and began helping the men unload. They finished shortly before lunch he thanked them and threw the boy a nickel. This was it!
“He must have found it all these years of research may just have paid off. This expedition would make us famous if he found what we were looking for.”

He could hardly wait to open the crates. He ran to the supply room and retrieved a crowbar. All the crates were unmarked as to content except for one, so he decided to find the biggest and see what he would find.
Inside was a carved green stone statue about three feet tall of the most bizarre kind. I had an elephant like head but instead of ears it had hundreds of tentacles the chest was vaguely human except for the four clawed arms that protruded out like branches on a knurled oak tree. It had the body of a horse but instead of hooves it had large muscular claws.
“Hideous indeed I wonder what sort of god this fellow is?”
Strange words were carved into the base familiar but not a dialect he knew also a relief of a symbol he did not recognize. He set the statue aside gently.
“That should attract some attention! What other wonderful things can we find?”
He rummaged through the straw a wad of cloth was buried in the corner of the box.
“Hello! What’s this?”
It was heavy for its size; carefully he unwrapped it a gold amulet with the strange symbol on it.
“The museum need not know of this.”
He placed it around his neck and tucked it into his shirt, for safekeeping. The other crates held bits of pottery, Fragments of carvings a few smaller statues, and baubles of value and finally a crate that was marked. “Spanish Records of the conquest”
“Aha! The translations I was doing. The early church records must be in here!”
He cracked open the box wrapped in the brightly colored linens was the only surviving evidence of culture of the southern tribes of inner South America. Transcribed by Spanish Missionaries that arrived with the Conquistadors.
“The priest’s diary of the magical incantations and rituals of the natives. I must find it its got to be here! Euribus you devil where is it? I translated the sections about the cup! Where is it!”
At the bottom of the musty tomes he found it Covered in Crocodile hide the faint odor of rotting flesh struck him as he opened the book.

He flipped the pages fascinated by the thought in this book was all the wisdom and ritual of the cult of the Star demon. He had studied this cult for years under Lord Euribus’s tutelage. Hidden in these pages the answer to the riddle of the cup of the undying one, and fame and fortune. People like the strange and ancient beliefs ready to latch on to any new absurdity first Egypt now South America.
“But where is the cup? The center piece of all their traditions.”

He fumbled through the pages his hand trembling till he found the chapter on summoning the star demon to receive his gift of knowledge and eternal life. “Yes the pages I translated.”
“Here it is.”
Unlock the heart of the fallen one and you will receive his gift. Lord Euribus wrote that this was a legend of the local shaman, that he who possessed the demons heart would know all the old ways and would live until it was his time to move on to the realm of the keepers of knowledge. Some of the shamans of old, were rumored to have lived a thousand years by drinking the blood of the demon’s heart. Ponce De Leon must have heard these tales when he searched for the fountain of youth.
“But the cup is not here!”
He had studied the tomes of the priests who tried to convert the local tribes, They had minimal success since their gods answered their requests and this Christian God was strange to them and so different than what they knew. Their gods spoke to them through the shamans and these priests of the Christian God did not. And though the stories of the two religions were similar the gods of the natives were harsh, evil, and unforgiving. Appeased only by ritual and sacrifice and bizarre rites. But fascinatingly the stories of this cup of eternal life reminded Dan of the Arthurian legend of the Holy Grail. Of course Dan was a rational thinker, a scientist not the Roman Catholic he parents had raised to him to be. To him there really was no God, but these stories were beginning to enthrall him because of the similarities between the two religions.
The rest of that month he searched the tome for the answer he ate very little and slept even less as he was plagued by strange dreams of ancient cities and old temples lined with gold. Between the actual accounts of strange phenomenon and the supporting texts of the rituals and the reality of his dreams Dan began to believe the validity of the accounts. The shamans had strange god like powers that kept the people in line. Almost like the pharos magicians of ancient Egypt even like Moses. “Could this cup be more ancient than all these religions and were there others like it at the heart of these beliefs.”
“Perhaps there is a power in these beliefs.”
That night he had a waking vision of a great golden temple. At it’s heart was an altar with a strange green statue on it. The people around him fell to there knees an old man with a golden staff in the shape of a serpent, stood beneath the stars there was no moon. He raised his hands before the altar and a strange scintillating green light enveloped him and the statue. Then Dan awoke.
“That was it the statue!”
He checked his astrological calendar one night before the new moon. Quickly, he ran to the museum the night watch man let him in. For hours he gathered what he needed an ancient Egyptian altar the Idol and some ancient Greek torch holders. He moved them to the roof of the museum near the center of the building. All was ready. Except the sacrificial blood to encircle the altar at the moment before the ritual. Lastly he grabbed the book. He then covered the altar with the colorful linens from the crates and went home to sleep. This time he was plagued by horrible nightmares of strange beasts and shadow creatures and human sacrifice but chalked it up to nervous energy and what he had read. Tonight the stars were right and he would perhaps be born again to eternal life and power.
“Poor Euribus so close but no clue. I have what is required and once I have the gift of the star Demon I will show the world true power.”
The hair on the back of his neck stood on end as he spoke those words. He smiled. And made his way to the museum in the darkness. The black book at his side.
The night watchman was asleep, Dan deftly lifted his keys and let him self in. It was almost midnight. He went into the Egyptian hall again for one last thing the pharos costume, headdress and ceremonial dagger. The finishing touch.
“To be a god one must be properly attired!”
Finally he reached the roof, lit the torches and opened the book. Oh! The blood I hope pigeon will work. He ran to the over hang and grabbed a pigeon that was sleeping under the gutter. This flushed the rest into the dark night sky. He cut off its head and drew a circle around the altar. A meteor streaked through the sky, He raised his hands and began chanting the ancient words.
“Arrah dohc hey remanti solea cwhante rebisquem , Arrah dohc hey remanti solea cwhante rebisquem ”
He felt something warm on his chest he looked down and the amulet was glowing he withdrew it still chanting the words. As the light of the stars hit it began glow brighter then the eyes of the statue began to glow. Then it looked as if it came alive he began chanting louder then a crack formed in the statues chest and a strange green light poured out the crack grew larger, Dan quivered and moved closer still chanting
“Arrah dohc hey remanti solea cwhante rebisquem”
The light was so bright it seemed as day light. Then in side the statue sat a black onyx cup with strange red glowing lettering on it. Dan reached out and took it put it to his mouth and drank the dark liquid. I poured like fire down his throat he returned the cup to its place and then all was dark.

He awoke with a foul taste in his mouth shaking uncontrollably. Flashes of searing pain wracked his body, he screamed as the world began to spin. Images of death and torture coursed through his mind and a horrible unnamable presence filled his soul. A voice spoke words into his mind and the pain was replaced by ecstasy as abominable rituals and knowledge poured in from the gulfs of time immemorial. He laughed hysterically as pure power entered his body.
“It was all true.”

Four policemen burst onto the roof armed with Thomson machineguns as a fear crazed night watchmen pointed at the incoherent Dr. Dan Smith. Cautiously they moved toward him. As he babbled at them in a long forgotten archaic language they cuffed him removed the things he acquired form the museum and hauled him off to the asylum. Where he was bound in a straitjacket. Several days later he began showing signs of coherence and eating the food he was given. Still he did not speak. The doctors were confused by a strange organism in his blood. Normally the body would attack a foreign body in the blood stream but this particular organism seemed at harmony with the cells around it.
Of course he was heavily medicated. When the police arrived for questioning, he burst the straight jacket and charged at the door screaming in a language that they considered gibberish. Orderlies rushed in with a double dose of morphine. And after a slight struggle he went limp as the morphine took effect. They used heavy leather straps and chains to bind him to the wall after that. The police quite sure he had gone insane left him to his torment in the asylum.
The museum curator was shocked at the news. He stated in the newspapers that the loss of his two best archaeologists in one week was quite a blow to the museum, but that a new exhibit would be up soon and that it would provide new insight to the ancient world. He would not confirm the security guards story about the event that took place on the roof several days ago. The security guard had been drinking heavily and hallucinated what he saw. The light that was seen was a fire lit by the insane Dr. Dan Smith. There were no U.F.O’s. And the green color was due to atmospheric conditions.
The orderlies reported to the head psychiatrist that when Dr. Drakkus was given the paper he laughed out loud. The psychiatrist ordered he be put on heavier medications. In the weeks that followed Dan had many visitors. The military, the museum curator, Doctors from across the country. He spoke to none of them he only smiled and laughed as they did tests upon tests.</div>

I shipped them via ups USPS and fedex and they all got destroyed so plaster is out. Many apologies. How ever the ABS plastic is stronger and more resilient and far lighter making them easy to frame.

11 “‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Strike your hands together and stamp your feet and cry out “Alas!” because of all the wicked and detestable practices of the people of Israel, for they will fall by the sword, famine and plague. 12One who is far away will die of the plague, and one who is near will fall by the sword, and anyone who survives and is spared will die of famine. So take heed this year oh mine enemies and repent for the Lord brings fulfillment to his Prophesies and now is the time.

I want to share this story with you but first I need to set it up...

.The Lost Sheep
1 Now all the tax collectors and the sinners were coming near Him to listen to Him. 2 Both the Pharisees and the scribes began to grumble, saying, “This man receives sinners and eats with them.”
3 So He told them this parable, saying, 4 “What man among you, if he has a hundred sheep and has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open pasture and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? 5 “When he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6 “And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ 7 “I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.

For so many years I have been serving you and I have never neglected a command of yours; and yetyou have never given me a young goat, so that I might celebrate with my friends; 30 but when this son of yours came, who has devoured your wealth with prostitutes, you killed the fattened calf for him.’31 “And he said to him, ‘Son, you have always been with me, and all that is mine is yours. 32 ‘But we had to celebrate and rejoice, for this brother of yours was dead and has begun to live, and was lost and has been found.’”

For the past 15 years I have been with out a church to call home. I was a Christian searching for the kingdom of God. And well I believe I've found it in front of me the whole time the one place I told God I could not go. We all have those things in our life that because we are ashamed or too proud we just cannot do. Say you were a thief and got caught shop lifting even if it was your friends you were with at the time who did the deed you are still guilty but only by association and even if you had no knowledge of it the shop owner still ban you. Well would you ever dream of showing your face in the store again? Sometimes God wants us to go places we don't really want to go hard places dark places. But though we are only candles he is a torch nay a blazing forest fire ready to light up the darkest places for us all those places we won't go he has prepared a path for us. For me that place was church I had been hurt by the church on more than one occasion, but I realized something those people who hurt me were not the best Representative of Christ God had to offer. Even though they drove me to the desert God used it to teach me. I had to wonder for 15 years alone afraid in pain oppressed and down right LOST. Then God showed me the other sheep who were just like me and told me I have a special place prepared for you " In my fathers house there are many mansions." he gave me a family who loved me unconditionally just because they too had been rejected by everyone. They to were Lost sheep. Christians who had no place to go. Together we were instant friends and a powerful ministry. We are Gods Goth Sheep we go to those places most churches and pastors won't we go places most people in general won't. Searching for our lost brothers and sisters. I have found my family and now a church indeed through that church I found a home church also because though we are many miles apart as most families are now a days my brothers and sisters pointed the way to a church in my area that would accept me. And guess what they did. And now I have a home church I'm not fully plugged in as they say but that takes time. There is always that getting to know you phase. Its really hard but it is necessary. I encourage any of my readers to join our family if you are so inclined listen to pastor Tiavi and Rev. Cruxcorvus and Moody bible radio too learn from them in this age of information you have the opportunity to privately learn without the formal church setting until you are comfortable with going to a church. I thought for a long time I was the only Christian Goth/Metalhead in the world boy was I wrong. God loves us all as we are sinners and only through that redeeming love of his son Jesus can we even hope to approach him but approach him we can because Jesus allreay paid the price for your sins and mine. and all you have to do is ask him into your live to prove it.

Have you ever gotten to the end of a month and need a little more money to pay a bill you forgot about.....well I did today $15 was the price of this bill that could have been disastrous for me financially....But this time instead of doing it my self and begging borrowing I said God I need help and you are the one I am depending on to pay this bill. And he did. He sent me a way to pay that bill. I put in some time helping a friend and I got exactly $16 to cover the bill!!! Now this may sound trivial but I was determined no to beg the money from any one and let the bill go unless God intervened. No God did not apear in a burning bush but he was there! I got a phone call the day after I poured my heart out to God about how tired I was of begging and borrowing and and said that it I'm done I give up every thing I love and and forsake it as a source of happiness or a dream or whatever I am not doing any of it any more! God help me! And went to sleep. I awoke to a phone call Are you ready to work? we need you bad and your help is needed......So I went and I did the best job I could believing this was an answer to prayer and it was I helped out and for the time I was there I received exactly $16 dollars. I never asked how much they were going to pay me or when they would pay me or any thing or even if I would get paid and it was a Dollar more than I needed. And disaster was averted by a friend who needed help out of the blue and I have no doubt GOD set it all up to prove he is faithful. Because that $15 dollars paid a bill that could have cost me $300 dollars in the future if I did not pay it. And I got just what i needed when I needed it. EXACTLY. That little detail meant more to me than money God ANSWRED AN urgent need wit a way and did it when I needed it most. So in conclusion I was absolved of my codependency on every one else and became a "dependent" of GOD. I know now he will always make a way for me "IF" I depend on him......

As I wrap up for the year outside and move my projects indoors, I have decided to start a set of opencourseware classes from Covenant Seminary I am going through all the course work I can find and although it will not make me a reverend on paper I'll be one in learning. Its just a confidance builder and best of all its FREE!!! No grades no papers no CRAP! Jesus' disciples did not write term papers or have a degree in theology no they were examined by San Hedron and were found to be un- educated as it states in the bible. And well I'm with Peter I am determined to know only one thing by which I am saved Jesus as Christ and Him Crucified for all my sins, He that believes in Jesus has everlasting life. and Jesus is fulfillment the law and the prophets. That is It now to convince others of that takes learning. Which I am about to undertake. I know why I believe now I will learn the testimony and teachings of Jesus and others so I can build a Castle on the cornerstone Jesus so adeptly provided me with. Let us see if any can trip over a castle built to the Lord. My reasoning is if they trip over the cornerstone then maybe a solid stone wall will show them the way to get up. I'll be sure there are plenty of torches Lighting up the Cornerstone as I build so no one falls too hard. If you think this make no sense then read the top half again to find the simple truth the HOLY GRAIL so to speak THE ARK OF THE COVANANT embodied yes I have them both in my possession and marvel at them every day. If you don't believe me read a discription of each as to what they are and then think real hard about every thing in Italics......

I will be working on several new projects as we shift gears to the winter months....shop time is coming to an end for the year and I am wrapping up production on most of the shop projects as it is becoming colder. Now I will shift to sculpting in sculpy on a smaller scale and those little sculptures I promised last winter will be forthcoming. The GRIZZLY BEARS and Goblyns of Blackshire as well as some unique pieces will be headed to the production facility IE my basement and casting and painting will commence. I will still be doing armor projects as the cold permits. Male corsets are in the lineup as well as some more GothArmor masks. I will endeavor to make one more run of jewelry as most of my stock is gone. But fear not I have many new ideas and lots of time to work on designs this winter. The foundry did not get off the ground but is still on the agenda for next spring. as well as T-shirts.

The Key to the Goblyn KingdomThe key to the Goblyn kingdom must be stolen from a Goblyn. First you must also Steal the king’s Coin. This can be done by placing an iron nail through the loop in the Kings throne. To travel from house to house Goblyns gather on the Kings throne and place a coin stolen from that house in the throne they then materialize in the head of the house holds chair. This being an alternate way into the kingdom, jumping on while they de materialize. Only this way leaves you trapped in the Goblyn kingdom. Back to the Coin Goblyns gain entrance to a house hold by stealing a coin form the head of the household. That coin be comes the key to that house. So over time Goblyns amass a treasure of coins and other things shiny to the dismay of the victims. It used to be coins were made of gold and Goblyns were hunted by poor children in search of treasure. But times are harder now and coins are made of base metals so people stopped searching and Goblyns were forgotten by time. Now you see a Goblyn house can be any house. But once the head of the house holds chair is removed the door is sealed. Now its not just any chair its his favorite chair, Much harder to remove, Some times even handed down though generations. Once a chair leaves a house though, the door to the kingdom is sealed until another coin is gathered. How is the coin, gathered you may ask? Well when you are invited into a house containing Goblyns and you sit on the furniture of course. They steal the coin right out of your pocket! Only Goblyns know which coins belong to which house so it is useless to use their method of travel for all you enterprising thieves out there. But if you hold the key you can entere the Goblyn kingdom. There are many keys that exist because through the centuries many were stolen or lost by a mead intoxicated Goblyn king. But all the lost keys have been found and recovered. It’s the stolen ones they still look for. So if you catch a goblyn with a coin you have a key from your house to the kingdom but if you have the king’s key you can enter from any door…..

I plan to make fully functional fantasy weapons for collector and display purposes. They will be made by hand in my back yard driven by what ever the muse beckons me to create I plan to make weapons that are unique and all custom. Rearranged the whole house in three days. A new life is coming into the world and I have to be ready you know. I am pleased with my efforts never thought I could make it all fit but its cozy. The Dungeon has heat and is waiting for this springs overhaul. The work shop is complete. Ready for FORGE/FOUNDRY. Yes that is right DIY foundry I will be casting brass zinc bronze maybe Iron in all the traditional ways lost wax green sand and yes perhaps a few non traditional methods. I am saving up for all the equipment I need most I will buy second hand or build my self. I may even put a kiln out there if I can find one cheap. Though I am limited in a few capacities I am going all out on this as an act of worship. It is what God made me to do and now I've finally decided to embrace it wholeheartedly no matter if any cares no matter if any one is watching no mater how many people are against me I NO LONGER CARE. I must do what I do because it is what I do. Hope fully I will soon be making medieval weapons and armor to sell on ebay statuary and other sculptures to sell there also.

I'm not so crazy after all Thank you to the GraveRobbers ministry form making this real .You all are doing what I dreamed of ...some how though I keep having that happen.....Wierd ....Proof that God Answers Prayer !!! I am not claiming to have any thing to do with this other than I will be attending but it is freaking awesome that it is happening and I can only credit God ...as they chose the same name as I chose with my wife and I don't remember telling any one about it......This is going to open doors for a lot of people maybe even a Gothic Church revival movement or some thing even greater than I could have dreamed.

Cuz I am tired of Christian Goths being forced out of the church by closed minded Fellow Christians. We were not all born Living saints we are all sinners. As Christians Jesus said just because we look different you cannot tell us we are not part of the body. The eye cannot say to the hand I am greater than you because they are part of the same body likewise the main stream church cannot say to a sub culture church you are not part of the church because you look different.
I mean as a Goth I'll reach out to people the church won't touch because I've been there before those dark places no regular Christian would Go...I mean if I walk into a Church now I get stares How can that guy belong here? I tell you now I feel ashamed as a Goth if I don't get stares ;) But I can walk into any biker bar and they won't even flinch or any concert or any place a well to do person would not be caught dead in and I will be just what God designed me to be a beacon of light and hope in the darkness.
